About Me

I worked for many years in the Aerospace industry.  The last fourteen years, managing the metrology department and calibration labs.  I was a member of the National Conference of Standard Labs (NCSL) and American Society of Quality (ASQ) and have numerous certifications in the field (CMQ, CQE, CCT, CQA).

After my career in the Aerospace industry, I completed and self-published my first novel, Bridge Across Rocky Creek.

Since then I have completed four other novelsNorth and Back, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, The Flip Side and Conspirato.

I have found I get as much satisfaction and enjoyment in researching the history for the stories as much as developing the fictional characters in them.

I was the RRCA Western Region Club writer of the year and wrote a monthly column for The Runners Schedule.

In my spare time I run and ride my bicycle and have completed over thirty eight 100 mile runs and all five passes of the Deathride three times.

With all the mountain biking trails in our area I could not help but try to ride them on a full suspension mountain bike.  I struggle to keep my feet on the pedals and have come to realize that in my late 60’s I am not quite as immortal as I was in my early 30’s.  Also for some reason falling hurts a lot more than it used to… So I fear I shall never become competent as a trail cyclist.  But never the less I do enjoy the attempt and besides, pushing a heavy mountain bike up a rocky trail is great exercise.

I also enjoy gardening and woodworking and any home project that involves physical effort.

I live with my wife and all our pets at the base of Mingus Mountain near Cottonwood Arizona.
